Little blessing

It's amazing... my baby nephew accomplished in a single day what I had been trying to do for years.

Don't grow up too fast, little one.

It wasn't my time yet.

"I'm back to save the universe."

So the heat is on as candidates battle over the presidency of my country. "He said this, she said that." Every damn politician tries to ruin the other, and with so much information out there, it gets confusing, frustrating, and just plain old tiresome.

There's always some new grand scheme to improve our lives. But then it's always back to "hidden agenda this" or "pork barrel spending that." When did government become so complicated that the average citizen can't understand what the hell is going on? Is this the nation our forefathers envisioned?

Enough of this endless nonsense! My message to federal government: Keep it simple and leave us alone. All I want you to do is secure the damn border and stay the hell out of my pocket!

I sometimes play this stupid little golf game on my phone. I racked up about $8000 in the game... almost enough to buy the $10,000 super golf club with the best possible power and accuracy.

Then suddenly, the game's memory cleared and my money was gone.

Reminded me of taxes.

A week ago, I found 300-something dollars on the counter at a bakery. Somebody had obviously left it accidentally. I gave it to the cashier.

Today, I found a Blackberry at the bank. I gave it to the teller.

It sucks being honest.
